Your Privacy Choices
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information · Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
Do we sell your personal information?
Only in Syndicated Studies: research Conveo runs itself, where we license your recording, transcript and answers to organisations that subscribe to the study for their own research. We remove your name and contact details first, and we only do this if you opted in before the study. Under California law this is a "sale".
In Commissioned Studies, run for one of our clients, we act as that client's service provider and sell nothing. We never sell the contact or profile details your panel provider shares with us, and we don't share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Your choices
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information you chose to share in a Syndicated Study.
You can do either at any time, including withdrawing a consent you gave before. Use the form below, email [email protected] with "Do Not Sell" in the subject line, or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat GPC as an opt-out request, and while it's on we won't offer you Syndicated Studies.
What happens next
Within 15 business days we stop licensing your content, tell every subscriber that holds it, and require them to delete or de-identify it within 30 days. Research findings already combined so they no longer identify you can't be withdrawn.
Once you opt out you can't join new Syndicated Studies, and we won't ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months. Opting out doesn't affect incentives you've already earned or your ability to take part in Commissioned Studies.
Authorised agents
Someone can submit a request for you with your signed permission. We may ask you to confirm directly with us that you gave it.
Children
Syndicated Studies are only open to adults, and we never sell the personal information of anyone under 18.
