Hire a certified research partner for any part of your study

Some studies need more hands than a team has that week: a discussion guide in a new category, recruitment in an unfamiliar market, or a report due the same day as the next brief. Until now, getting help meant a separate agency contract and files passed back and forth outside the study. The Service Marketplace brings that help into Conveo. It is rolling out to all workspaces over the next two weeks. In the pilot, a consumer goods client ran several projects with several freelancers through it.

How it works

• Find a partner. Open Service Marketplace in the sidebar. The Partner directory lists vetted, Conveo-certified freelancers and agencies, with filters by country, service, industry and geography, and a profile for each. To bring the agency or freelancer you already work with, invite them with one email.

• Ask for what you need. Pick Discussion guide development, Recruitment and field work, Analysis & Reporting, or End-to-end support. Describe the job, attach a brief, and choose who should quote: a named partner, your agencies, or a Conveo match. Add the study and your deadlines. Nothing is reserved when you submit.

• Accept a quote. Partners reply with a price, a note and an optional proposal. Accepting one quote closes the others.

• The partner works inside your study. They get a restricted role on that one study and nothing else. Turn on "Require my approval before the partner spends" to sign off panel and analysis spend against an estimate first.

• Approve the delivery. When the partner marks the work delivered, you approve the final cost or push back with a reason. Once you approve, their access ends.

One contract, paid in credits

The partner's price is reserved from your credits when you accept the quote and charged in full when you approve the delivery. Panel recruitment and analysis are billed separately, as the study runs. All billing runs through Conveo, so you never handle a partner invoice.

What this means for your research

Each study can now run on its own model, from fully DIY to full service. Run one study yourself, bring in a freelancer to turn the next one into a report, and hand a third to an agency end to end. You decide per study, and you can switch for the next one without a new contract.

Whoever does the work, every study stays in your Conveo workspace, so the video conversations, transcripts and reports from all of them sit in one place. And it all runs on one budget: the same credits pay for the platform and the partners.

Your team keeps the study and decides what to hand off, with spend you approve and partner access that ends with the work.

One thing to know: a partner only sees the study linked to the request, so link the right one before you accept a quote.
